Ben Zimmer, President
Ben Zimmer has over 14 years of experience as a LabVIEW programmer, working in and providing consulting services to a variety of industries.
Ben has spent the past several years focusing on the Automation industry, working on advanced systems and assembly lines, ranging from small to systems to $10M lines. This work included electrical test systems, motion, vision, data analysis, supervisory systems, and a variety of other applications.
Prior to that, Ben managed the Reliability Engineering department at a manufacturing company, where he gained experience developing short term as well as life testing systems primarily using National Instruments Hardware, and LabVIEW.
Ben holds a Combined Honours Degree in Mathematics and Physics and a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
For the past few years, Ben has also been a Part-Time College Professor, teaching courses in LabVIEW, Electronics, and Signal Processing at the Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning in Toronto, Canada.
Amy Leask, Vice-President Sales and Marketing
Amy Leask (BA Hons, MA) has been an educator for over ten years, and has extensive experience with classroom and online instruction, as well as course design and the development of learning resources. She is also a published author and editor whose list of publications includes marketing materials, web content, educational articles and technical documents. Her academic background lies in language, literature and the humanities.
